Cheap Jumping Stilts That Aren’t Cheap

Power Jumping Stilts , February 1st, 2010

I had my first experience with cheap jumping stilts when I came to L.A. to visit my cousin. I am scared of heights, and I was really scared to try it. It looks like I would not be able to control it. But then he borrowed a shorter one from a friends and wore his so he can jump with me. As I was scared, I had to wear all sorts of safety precautions such as a helmet and knee pads.

I had to use towels and rolled up shirts for my elbow pads as my cousin doesn’t have it. At first try, I jumped 2 ft and then I jumped and jumped until I got comfy to jump into 4 ft. we then went to an open park, people were staring it us. But I did not mind, I’m not from there anyway. We jumped from the garden , basketball court , and to the rink. I had a lot of fun and felt really happy that in my own little way I was able to conquer my fear of height. The next day, he invited more of his friends to jump with us and they were able to jump as high as 7 ft, they had personalized jump stilts in different colors. That was my most memorable event in my stay in L.A., well aside from the fact that I almost got a tattoo.

Why Anti Gravity Shoes Should Be Used On Skydives

Power Jumping Stilts , January 27th, 2010

This kid wanted to do skydiving but decided not to.

Anything being done for the first time is bound to make you nervous. Of course, this nervousness wouldn’t be quite evident if the activity does not involve your life. But, with skydiving, your life is on the line. It is understandable, therefore, that most will freak out when doing skydiving for the first time. Here are some tips that could help you out:

1) Recall your lessons: Before you actually skydive, you ought to have taken a few skydiving lessons in the ground. Our fears actually arise more from lack of knowledge than anything else. Most people who are skydiving for the first time panic when they think that they can’t recall what they’ve been taught in the ground. You’ll need to recall your lessons and remember what your instructor had taught you, but also remember that it is not really all that complicated. Usually, skydiving instructors make students practice basic drills repeatedly. Some people may think that this is because they have nothing better to teach but actually, the repeated drills allows those lessons to be ingrained into your mind. Because of those drills, you will be able to react instinctively even if you get confused.

2) Enjoy yourself: Sometimes, it’s all a matter of distracting yourself from your fear. A lot of people actually find the jump more enjoyable if they forget the fact that they are putting their lives on the line. In fact, because of today’s technological advancements applied to the skydiving sport, skydiving actually puts you in vary little danger at all. Just enjoy the sensation of the clouds beneath your feet and the view of earth from this unique perspective. Remember: skydiving is supposed to be fun. So whistle a tune or recite a sonnet. Get your mind off the danger and onto the beauty of the experience. Rejoice in the thrill of the flight. Remember that you are practically conquering gravity. You are stepping on the edge of the cliff where the view is at its best – do you look at the beauty of the horizon or do you look down into the rocks below. Forget the rocks, enjoy yourself.

3) Prepare your mind: Just when you are about to jump, you will experience a split second of fear where you will have second thoughts about whether to step outside the plane or not. You will feel your fear urging you to turn back and get the pilot to land the plane with you still in it. However, you need to get past this voice. The best way you can do this is to prepare your mind beforehand with a deeper message. You need to actually hypnotize and convince yourself that there’s nothing you would like more than to experience the thrill of the jump. Remember that preparation is the best weapon you can have against fear. You need to accept the fact that you will feel fear during the jump. Fear is completely natural and is no way an indication of your inadequacy for the task. Some people are great at disguising fear but everyone has fear. Accept that you are afraid and still jump.

4) Press a pressure point: There are certain points in the palm which, when squeezed, can help reduce your stress. By stimulating these points, you will find that you are breathing easier and you can actually think more clearly about the jump. By easing your panic, you will be able to conquer the fear of skydiving for the first time.

Why Air Trekkers Jumping Stilts Can Be Cool

Power Jumping Stilts , January 25th, 2010

It took me a long time to find about jumping stilts. I accidently uncovered a website with people jumping up and down incredibly high and they had some device strapped to their feet. I was stoked about this so I saved up money and bought me a pair online. The first place I went to use them was in my driveway to practice at what I could do. I was not able to do any tricks or anything but I was in the air and able to jump over bushes I would never be able to jump normally.

There are many items out in the world that are cool like a skateboard a guitar but nothing is as fun as jumping high in the air. It is not only a workout but to me it’s like being on a ride at a theme park. I enjoy Jumping away on the sidewalks that are on my street and especially playgrounds where I can show off. One thing I really love about jumping stilts is when others come to watch in awe as if they have never seen anything like it before. I have had a crowd of people watching me before and even smile and applaud. These stilts are one of the best things I have invested in everyone should have one.

Jumping Stilts Running Can Be Fun

Power Jumping Stilts , January 22nd, 2010

The day I broke my nose using jumping stilts As a child, I used to watch men on jumping stilts with great awe and admiration. It used to appear very easy and enjoyable. I still remember, whenever there used to be a procession on streets during religious festivals, there would be traditional dressed men on jumping stilts, performing dangerous feats. I would love watching them so much that I would even dream of performing those arts myself. The performers on the streets wore only knee protections!

My sister had been to America recently and she brought back a pair of jumping stilts. They looked lovely and challenging at the same time. I was told that one had to wear protective gears like helmet and wrist guards (to avoid sprains and fractures), etc., before attempting to use them. Since I had always wanted to try them, I got on to the jumping stilts, tried a few steps and then my God! I lost my control and you should have seen the way I landed on the floor on my nose. I yelled with pain and it required a great effort to stop the bleeding! It was fun, I am not deterred and I will surely want to master the art. They are no doubt enjoyable and let me not throw a wet blanket on those who want to try them. Managing jumping stilts is an art that requires good training skills. Who knows one day it could become very popular and be included in all sporting activities?

I like power jumping stilts because they are fun. I like to jump really high. When I was a kid, I lived in Mexico and there wasn’t many things to do. My friends and I made jumping stilts from wood and spring that we found at the dump. It took a while to make, but we had lets of fun making and play with them. We had to find some way to kill the boredom. Now, I lived in the United State and one of my hobbies is to make jumping stilts, but now I have more material to make them. They look a lot better now then they did back then. I painted all of my jumping stilts. They look nice.

Sometimes I start a garage sell and sell my work. Sometimes I think about opening my own stilt shop. That way people can experience the joys of power jumping stilts, and see the faces of little kids when they open their present and see power jumping stilts. I love making people and myself happy. Some kids don’t know the joys of power jumping stilts. I wish everyone could understand my passion, but they don’t and that’s okay. All I know is that I love jumping stilts and I will continue to make them. so, that’s why I think power jumping stilts are cool.
